Huseyin Turgut


He was born in 1966 in Bafra, Samsun. He started taking photographs during his university years while studying at the Faculty of Fine Arts at On Dokuz Mayıs University. However, the real breakthrough in this field was made with Istanbul Photography and Cinema Amateurs Association (IFSAK).

He participated in many national and international competitions and received various awards. He participated in many group exhibitions. He opened his first solo exhibition in his village coffee house on October 29, 2015 and tried to take the art of photography out of the major cities and bring it to the rural areas. In addition, he was the director of projects on the West Side of the Golden Horn, Er Square, Orda Bir Köy Var and Train Station.

He had the opportunity to present his photographs in projection screenings and exhibitions. He continues to build connections between cultures by going to different countries and producing the art of photography in order to reach universal values.
